Mom visiting son finds body at gate

A Saudi mother visiting her newly-wed son got the shock of her life when she found his body hanging by the gate of his house in the Gulf Kingdom.

Police, quoted by 'Sabq' newspaper, said they were investigating whether the 25-year-old man committed suicide or a criminal act is involved in his death.

The paper said the mother went to visit her son in the Southern province of Jazan after he did not answer her phone calls for most of the day.

It did not mention where the wife was at the time of his death.
