Mosque preacher dies in air

An ill Saudi mosque preacher died in air just an hour before the aircraft landed in the Gulf kingdom from Pakistan.

The preacher had spent three weeks in Pakistan for treatment of kidney failure but doctors told him to return home and come back later, Okaz Arabic language daily said.

“Nearly an hour before the Saudia plane landed in Riyadh, the Imam told his aides he wants to have some sleep,” it said.

“When they tried to wake him up after the aircraft was about to land, they found him dead.”
