'My wife bit me,' husband tells court

A Saudi husband took his wife to court, accusing her of beating him with his head cover and biting him in various parts of his body.

But the wife told court in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah that she defended herself after her husband assaulted her for an alleged relationship.

“My wife bit me, she also slammed me and used the Iqal (head cover) to lash me,” the husband told court, according to Ajel newspaper.

“The court found that the husband and his wife presented contradictory statements, it decided to adjourn hearings,” the paper said.
