Newborn baby found in Saudi mosque

A Saudi man going to pray at a mosque in a shopping mall in the Gulf kingdom stumbled across a newborn baby inside a box left near the entrance.

An ambulance took the infant to hospital in the Southern Jazan province and doctors said he was in a good condition.

Sabq newspaper said the man found the baby crying, adding that he could be around two days old. It said police opened an investigation in to the case.
