Old man dies during Friday prayers

An old man died while performing Friday’s prayers at a packed mosque in Saudi Arabia just minutes after he left his home and walked to the mosque.

Nasser bin Khadr Al Orabi, in his 70s, was sitting on a chair listening to the Friday sermon by the Imam of the mosque in the western town of Taif, when he died.

“A man sat next to him and noticed that Al Orabi’s head tilted to the side and he was not moving. People at the mosque rushed him to the hospital, but he was already dead,” the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’ said.
