Omani fishermen hunt cows in the sea

Omani fishermen cast aside their fish nets and caught cows which they saw swimming in the water off the coast of the Gulf country.

The fishermen’s surprise was short lived after they were told the cows were aboard a cargo vessel which sank in Oman’s territorial water.

Several pictures were published on social networks and in newspapers in Oman and Saudi Arabia showing the fishermen with their massive catch.

“It is the first time in their life that the Omanis caught cows instead of fish in their sea,” Saudi daily 'Sada' said, quoting a reader.
