One year for woman who bit cop

A Bahrain court sentenced a local woman to one year in prison on charges of biting a police woman who tried to arrest her.

The court in the capital Manama found the unemployed woman guilty of biting the policewoman, resisting arrest and swearing at a police man.

The Arabic language daily ‘Al Ayam’ said police arrested the woman after she was reported by local hotel that she refused to pay the bill after having a drink.
