One-year-old girl drowns in water bucket

A one-year-old Saudi girl died after she drowned in a water bucket filled by her mother to wash the ground in her house in the Gulf kingdom.

The baby had apparently crawled into the open bathroom and climbed on top of the bucket before falling into it.

“Her mother spent some time looking for her daughter before she found her dead inside the bucket,” Sharq Arabic language newspaper said in a report from the southern province of Asir.
