Passenger jet had fuel leak before take-off

A Kuwaiti Airways flight with 220 passengers on board suffered a fuel leak minutes before take-off in the oil-rich Gulf emirate.

Fire engines rushed to the aircraft after its pilot reported the leak to the airport and delayed flight, newspapers said.

The plane, which also had 12 cabin crew members, took off en route to the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka after the leak was stopped.
