Pilot survives as Egyptian fighter jet crashes during training

A pilot has survived without injuries as a fighter jet crashed during a training of the Egyptian Air Forces on Saturday due to a technical malfunction, Military Spokesman Gharib Abdel-Hafez said in a statement.

Necessary measures have been taken by the relevant authorities, the spokesman said, without elaborating on the site of the crash.
