Prisoner let out for Haj dies during rituals

A Saudi man let out of prison to perform Haj (pilgrimage) after spending many years in jail died while performing the ites in Makkah.

The man, aged over 60, was one of the inmates pardoned by King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and allowed to fulfill his dream of performing pilgrimage.

“He went for Haj for the first time in his life. He died while he was fasting and performing Haj,” the Arabic language daily ‘Al Madina’ said.
