Pupil killed by speeding car at school gate

A 10-year-old pupil was killed by a speeding car just as he stepped out of his school in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

The boy was has just left school and was about to cross over to the other side when he was hit by the car just near the gate of the school in the Southern town of Sabya.

Sabq Arabic language newspaper said ambulances rushed the boy to hospital but he died on the way.
