Restaurant offers biryani with cockroach

A Saudi man got a big shock when he went into a restaurant and ordered biryani.

Halfway through his meal, he stumbled across a dead cockroach in the rice.

“I filmed the dish and the insect and sent the picture to the municipality…they said they would check the complaint and take measures against the restaurant,” the man told ‘Sada’ newspaper after having the infested meal at the restaurant in the central town of Muzahmiyya west of the capital Riyadh.
