Restaurant shut over 'urine bottle'

Saudi authorities shut down a restaurant after health inspectors found a bottle filled with human urine on a shelf, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Inspectors went to the restaurant in the Northwestern town of Hail after a local customer reported that a meal he bought was not fit for human consumption.

“The inspectors found a bottle filled with human urine on one shelf…they also found one worker had a wound on his hand while another was employed without a health certificate. The restaurant was also found to be violating health rules,” Ajel daily said, adding that it was shut down immediately.
