Rolls Royce in police chase catches fire

A 2016 Rolls Royce was badly damaged after catching fire while being chased by police in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

The car went past a police patrol in capital Riyadh when it was ordered to stop, the Arabic language daily Sabq said.

After the driver refused to stop, police patrol car chased the vehicle through Riyadh streets before it caught fire, it said, quoting a police spokesman.

“The spokesman said that police decided to stop the car after suspecting the driver,” the paper said without giving further details.
