Saudi aircraft collides with car at airport

A Saudi passenger aircraft collided with a car at an airport in the Gulf kingdom and both of them suffered damage, a Saudi newspaper said on Friday.

The Airbus A321, owned by the Kingdom’s national airlines Saudia, was heading for a maintenance hangar at the airport in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah when it hit the car which belongs to the Morocco’s national carrier Royal Air Maroc.

“The accident occurred on Wednesday and both the plane and the car suffered damage,” ‘Sada’ Arabic language daily said.
