Saudi Arabian prince beaten up in Lebanon

A group of Lebanese youth attacked and beat up a Saudi prince in Beirut following a heated argument between the prince and a traffic policeman for parking his car in a wrong place, a Saudi newspaper reported on Sunday.

The policeman approached the driver and told him to move his vehicle away but was rebuked by the Saudi prince sitting in the back seat, Sharq said.

“The Saudi prince started to shout and swear at the policeman who apparently did not know the man,” the paper said.

“When he told the policeman who he was and continued to swear, a group of young men jumped on the prince and beat him up before smashing part of his car…the prince is still at hospital,” the newspaper added, without identifying the prince.
