Saudi police have arrested a national who tortured his Indonesian housemaid before murdering her last month, a local newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The maid’s body was found in a waste bin in the southwestern town of Abha in late October and examination showed she had been severely tortured before death, the London-based Saudi Arabic language daily Al-Hayat said.
“Security authorities have just arrested the Saudi employer on charges of murdering his maid…the prosecution is still interrogating the killer,” the paper said, without identify the murderer or the victim.
