Saudi child accidentally killed by curtain rope

A seven-year-old Saudi boy died after his neck was accidentally caught by the curtain rope while he was playing near the window at his house in the Gulf kingdom.

Police said the incident took place on Wednesday evening when the boy climbed up the settle and started to play with the curtain at his home in the northern Sakaka town.

They said the body was taken to the coroner to determine the cause of death and whether the incident involved criminal act.
