Saudi child killed by stray bullet

A five-year-old Saudi girl was killed by a stray bullet while she was playing with her sister in the back garden of their house in the Gulf kingdom.

Shomoukh bin Matar Al Harthi was with her six-year-old sister in the garden at their house in the Western town of Taif when she suddenly collapsed.

Forensic tests showed she was hit by a bullet in the chest, ‘Sabq’ newspaper said, adding that police were investigating the incident.
