Saudi cousins vanish after Umrah

Two Saudi cousins disappeared just after performing Umra (mini pilgrimage) and headed back home by car, triggering an appeal for help by their families.

Fayez Hamdan Al Shammari, 21, and Faris Salim Al Shammari, 25, travelled to the Western town of Makkah last Thursday and called their families after performing Umra on Saturday to tell them they were on their way back home in the northern Rafha town.

“We have not turned up and we tried to call  them many times but their mobile phones  are turned off…we have no idea what happened to them and call on the police and all citizens to help locate them,” one of their relatives said, quoted by Sabq newspaper.
