Saudi diplomats in Germany emerged as the worst drivers after receiving the largest number of police tickets amidst the foreign diplomatic community in the European country.
Saudi newspapers, citing German police statistics published in the local press, said the Gulf Kingdom’s diplomats in Germany committed 2,099 traffic offences in 2012.
They included 1,832 tickets for parking in the wrong place, 248 for speeding and 19 for jumping the red lights, the report said.
Russian diplomats came second, with 977 offences, followed by Georgians with 618 offences and American and Chinese diplomats.
