A Saudi father in his 70s fell in love and decided to marry again after seeing the elder sister of his son’s fiancée who he wanted to end the engagement.

The father went with his married son to end the engagement with his fiancée at the request of his step daughter and the insistence of his own wife.

After they went into that house and before the father demands an end to the engagement between his son and his fiancée, a 30-year-old girl went into the sitting room and served coffee for the two guests.

“When the old man saw her, he asked her father if she is his son’s fiancée. He replied that she is her sister,” the Arabic language daily ‘Okaz’ said.

“The old man immediately changed his mind and told his host that he came to discuss arrangements for his son’s wedding to his daughter.

“He also told him he wanted to marry his other daughter and the father agreed to both requests,” the paper added without mentioning where in Saudi Arabia the incident happened.
