Saudi Arabia offers its civil servants 23 public holidays every year, the longest official off-work days in the Gulf, a Saudi newspaper reported on Tuesday.
They include at least 10 days for the Muslim Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha, the Gulf Kingdom’s National Day and other public holidays, Alyaoum daily said.
Oman came second, with 16 public holidays, followed by the UAE and Bahrain, with 15 days off each. Kuwait has 13 public holidays while Qatar’s 10 public holidays are the shortest in the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
