Saudi Mufti hospitalised after fall at home

Saudi Arabia’s Mufti (religious chief) Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al Shaikh was admitted to hospital with pelvis injury after falling inside his house, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Sunday.

Al Shaikh would stay at hospital in the capital Riyadh for a week to undergo treatment, the Arabic language daily Sabq said.

“Doctors said the Mufti needs seven days rest at hospital following reports that he had fallen at home, resulting in an injury in his pelvis,” it said.
