Saudi pit supervisor falls in

Arabs have a famous saying: “He who digs a pit to his brother falls into it.”

An excavation work foreman in Saudi Arabia proved the saying is correct when he fell into a pit he was supervising being dug.

‘Ajel’ newspaper said the man was driving his car into the construction site in the northwestern Hail town when it plunged into the pit which had no warning signboards.

“He suffered from injuries and was taken to hospital. It has been quite normal to see people falling into pits but not the one who dug the pit,” the paper said.
