Saudi plane swerves on runway, no casualties

A Saudi Airlines plane with 260 passengers on board swerved on the runway after landing in the western Saudi town of Madina on Wednesday, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

The Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Airport in Madina went on alert after the aircraft flying from Jakarta swerved off just after landing, Okaz Arabic language daily said, quoting airport sources.

“It was a dangerous landing that caused panic among the passengers…but there were no casualties,” the paper said without identify the type of the aircraft.
