Saudi praises action to foil drug smuggling

Major-General Mansur Al-Turki, Saudi Ministry of Interior Security spokesman, paid tribute to the UAE authorities for their pre-emptive efforts to foil attempts by narcotics networks to smuggle heroin into Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Al-Turki as saying that there are a solid and close cooperation between Saudi security forces and customs authorities and their counterparts in the GCC and other Arab countries.
