Saudi school boy gives Dh10,000 to classmates

A Saudi man gave his little son SR10,000 (Dh10,000) for being good at school. When the boy went to school in the morning, he gave all the money to his classmates.

The boys in the primary school in the eastern Saudi port of Dammam stampeded to get part of the windfall before the teacher came in and snatched the money off them.

“The teacher was doubtful. He then called the boy’s father, who said he gave his son the money at night,” Sabq daily said.

“The father then asked the teacher to keep the sum with him so he will come and collect it. He told the teacher he did not know his son took the sum with him to school.”
