Saudi sets brother on fire over financial rift

A 42-yar-old Saudi man deceived his brother into his apartment in the Gulf Kingdom, tied him up with the help of another man and set him on fire.

Civil defence found the charred body after putting out the fire in the apartment in the Eastern Saudi port of Dammam, according to local newspapers.

Police said they arrested the brother and his 45-year-old accomplice a day after they committed the murder.

"The accomplice confessed to the crime and said the brother decided to get rid of the victim because of financial disputes between them," police spokesman Colonel Ziad Al Rugaiti said.
