Saudi teen boy found hanging at home

A 14-year-old Saudi boy was found hanging at his house in the Gulf kingdom and police said they were investigating whether he had committed a suicide.

The boy was found by his family hanging by a rope tied to his neck in his bed room at their house in the southern Saudi town of Abha, Sada newspaper said.

“Police are investigating whether he had committed a suicide or if criminal act is involved in the incident,” the paper quoted a police source as saying.
 

Maid pours hot oil on Saudi family of five

A Saudi man, his wife and three children suffered from severe burns after their Ethiopian housemaid attacked them and poured hot oil on their bodies.

The maid boiled oil in the kitchen then carried the container to the sitting room before splashing it on the couple and their little kids at their house in the central Saudi town of Dawadmi, according to Sabq newspaper.

It said the five were rushed to hospital while the maid was arrested. The paper did not mention the reason for the maid’s attack.
