Saudi woman ends life inside water tank

A Saudi woman in her 50s committed a suicide by jumping into a water tank in her house in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper said on Tuesday.

Police and civil defence rushed to the house in the Western Saudi town of Makkah and removed the body after they were called by her family.

‘Sada’ Arabic language daily quoted a police spokesman as saying the woman had apparently committed a suicide and that an investigation is under way.
