Saudis kill caged hyena for meal

Saudi hunter captured a hyena during a desert safari trip, caged the animal and shot it before they dragged the carcass out and slaughtered it for a meal.

A YouTube film published in the Saudi daily Ajel showed one man aimed at the hyena’s head and fired. Another hunter dragged it out and joined the rest in slaughter.

“The publisher of the film said they slaughtered the hyena to enjoy its meat,” the paper said without mentioning where in Saudi Arabia the film was shot.
