Saudis seize Tramadol in frozen meat

Meat was in passenger’s baggage

Saudi airport customs inspectors seized more than 7,000 Tramadol tablets concealed inside frozen meat in a passenger’s baggage.

The inspectors decided to search the passenger arriving in the Western Red Sea port of Yanbu after suspecting he was carrying banned items.

“They found nearly 7,050 Tramadol tablets wrapped in paper and hidden inside frozen meat in the passenger’s baggage,” Sabq daily said without identifying the passenger.
