School thief hides under table

A Saudi thief who tried to rob a local school and was caught off guard by a police raid apparently recalled his childhood class days when he chose to mislead the raiders and hide under the table. But it was the first place that was checked by the police.

A Saudi resident who lives next to the school in the eastern town of Dammam phoned the police when he spotted the thief as he was jumping over the school wall late night.

“Police raided the school and saw that a computer and other items were missing in the main teachers room…they went straight to the table and pulled out the thief from underneath…they found all the stolen items with him,” 'Okaz' daily reported on Sunday.
