Schoolboy kills child

A 15-year-old Egyptian school boy stabbed a four-year-old girl to death after failing to molest her just near her house in the most populous Arab country.

The girl was playing outside her house in the Northern town of Kafr Al Dawar when the boy snatched her and took her behind a nearby mosque.

When he tried to misbehave with her, she started to scream, pushing him aside. He pulled a knife from his pocket and stab her to death. He then dumped her body near the mosque.

Newspapers quoted police as saying the boy confessed to killing the girl after he was worried her screams would expose him.
