Shepherd’s stone throw sends two to hospital

A Saudi shepherd who threw a stone at his sheep to warn them off the road had apparently not realised his weapon would miss the animals and hit humans.

Just as he hurled the little rock, a car passed in the area and rammed into a power pylon as its driver was caught off guard by the stone flying overhead.

“The driver and his sister were taken to the hospital with multiple factures after their car hit the power pole,” Okaz said in a report from the southern province of Jazan. “The shepherd told the police that he was sorry his missile missed.”
