South Korean kills compatriot in Kuwait over a meal

A South Korean man murdered his compatriot and work mate following an argument over food at their company housing complex in Kuwait.

The unnamed man used a large kitchen knife to stab his colleague who infuriated him by criticizing the meal he had prepared for the group.

Police said they had spent several hours trying to interrogate the other workers before arresting the killer.

“They could not speak Arabic and all of them tried to cover for the crime and protect the killer…but in the end, the killer was identified and arrested,” a police source said, quoted by the Arabic language daily Al Watan.
