Stench leads to dead body in mosque tank

A Moslem preacher had to delay his sermon after he could not longer stand a strong stench coming from the water tank behind his mosque. Maintenance workers called by the preacher found a dead body inside the tank.

Police said the body was of an unidentified man and were investigating whether the man was killed and dumped in the mosque’s tank.

In a report from the northern town of Hail on Sunday, Alriyadh Arabic language newspaper said the body was taken to hospital for forensic examination.
