Teenage girl commits suicide in Saudi

A 17-year-old Saudi girl shot herself with a hunting rifle and bled for several hours before she died, local newspapers reported on Monday.

The body of the unidentified girl was taken to hospital in the southwestern town of Baha for forensic examination before it was placed in the morgue.

Police are still investigating the motives behind the apparent suicide at the girl’s house, the papers said.
