Teenager invites teachers to his wedding

A 16-year-old Saudi school boy surprised his teachers and class mates when he sent them an invitation to come to his wedding, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Mohammed Ali Al Qubaisi decided to marry at an early age in line with traditions in his family and in the conservative Gulf Kingdom, Sada Arabic language daily said in a report from the Northwestern town of Tabuk.

“The boy’s teachers and classmates were invited to his wedding… the boy said his father has four wives and that he agreed to his wedding after he insisted on marrying at this age,” the paper said, adding that the boy’s father gifted him a new house.
