Thief cuts off victim’s hand for $475

A thief using a knife attacked a Pakistani expatriate in Kuwait and cut his hand off before fleeing with around KD140 ($475), a newspaper reported on Sunday.

The unknown thief had phoned the crane driver and asked him to tow his broken car but then changed his mind, Alanba Arabic language daily said.

“When the Pakistani man turned his back, the thief attacked him with a knife and cut his hand off to steal his money…he fled with KD140.”
