Tree is home for Saudi man for past 10 years

A Saudi man appears to have taken a tree as his home, as he has lived there for more than 10 years, through all seasons, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The bearded man has been a mystery in Milz area in the capital Riyadh as he does not mingle with local residents and rarely talks to any one, Sabq said.

“It seems the man does not have a home apart from this tree. He spends most of his time besides the tree and sleep there at night. The tree has become his home and no one knows why or anything about him,” the paper said.

“He sometimes smiles at passers-by but normally he tries to shun the others. Authorities should do something about this man, who could be ill.”
