Two killed by lightning in Saudi

A Saudi man and a child were killed by lightning in Saudi Arabia just after they stepped out of their house to enjoy the rain, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

'Sabq' said the 23-year-old man and his relative, 11, were rushed to hospital in the southern town of Baha, but they died on the way.

Examination showed they died after their heart stopped because of lightning in a thunderstorm that struck the southern region this week.
