Two rapists executed in Saudi Arabia

Saudi authorities on Wednesday executed two local men convicted of abducting and raping a local girl, the official Saudi press agency reported.

Abdul Karim bin Ali Meezi and Hashim bin Hassan Muharraqi were executed in the western town of Makkah after the death sentence was ratified by the Saudi monarch.

SPA said the two had been sentenced to death by a Makkah criminal court after they were found guilty of consuming liquor and abducting the girl to a remote area where they raped her and ‘damaged her virginity.’

The agency did not specify the girl’s age.
