The 6,129 poor Palestinian families in southern provinces in Gaza Strip have benefited from the project of buying and collecting olive oil alms in favour of the families. The project was implemented by UAE Human Appeal International (HAI).  

Director of HAI in the West Bank, Ibrahim Rashid, said, "This project has been implemented within the relief aid programmes implemented by HAI in the Palestinian provinces to back the steadfastness of Palestinians and ensure decent living conditions for them to overcome the siege laid on Gaza Strip."

He noted that HAI bought about 4, 240 litres of olive oil from small farmers in Jenin, Salfeet and Tulkarm provinces.
