Sandstorm has engulfed the UAE resulting in cooling down temperature and reducing visibility for motorists.

The storm has brought down temperature in the country to as low as 28 degrees and as high as 35 degrees with light cold breeze.

However, there is no forecast for rain today.

Roads and Transports Authority in Dubai has also displayed warning signs on major roads for motorists to drive carefully amid low visibility.

Last week, the UAE beachgoers were warned of rough sea at weekend.

A press statement issued by National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) warned from sea surfing and other beach activities due to high waves and strong winds.
