Video: 280kg grouper fish caught in Saudi

Saudi fishermen caught a giant grouper fish weighing nearly 280kg and hundreds of shoppers rushed into the fish market to see the massive sea animal.

The fish was caught in the Gulf waters off the Eastern Saudi Al Qateef province and several fishermen joined hands to carry it into the market.

Sharq newspaper, which carried a YouTube film of the hamour, said scores of customers crowded the market to be photographed with the fish, which was sold for SR1,000 (Dh1,000).
