Video: Child killed by bullet at wedding

A wedding in Jordan turned into a funeral when a child was shot dead by a stray bullet fired by a man celebrating the marriage of his relatives.

A YouTube film published in local newspapers showed the man loaded the gun and was trying to fix the trigger when the gun went off while pointed at two nearby children attending the wedding in the Northern town of Irbid.

Newspapers said the bullet penetrated the boy’s jaw and neck before hitting the foot of another child. They said the man who had the gun claimed first that it was a stray bullet fired by someone else but admitted his mistake when he saw the film.
