An Indian Muslim pilgrim died while performing prayers at the Grand Mosque in the western Saudi town of Makkah on Sunday.
A YouTube film carried by Al Saudeh daily showed other pilgrims surrounding the dead man, who was clad in white Haj (pilgrimage) attire. The unnamed man died nearly a week before the start of the annual Haj season.
More than 1.5 million Muslims have already arrived in Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage in Makkah, Islam’s holiest shrine.
